- Grant process has been started for both fresh and renewal applicants from different districts of West Bengal.

Application Eligibility for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship.
- To apply for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, the student’s annual family income should be less than 2 lakh 50 thousand rupees.
- Also, the student should be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- 11th, 12th, Diploma and Graduation students must secure minimum 60% marks in last annual examination.
- In case of post graduation students, minimum 53% marks in graduation are required for the scholarship.
However, no other government or private scholarship can be taken while availing this scholarship. Or the student will not be able to avail Swami Vivekananda Scholarship if he/she receives other scholarship grants.

How to Check Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Status?

When the new page opens Swami Vivekananda Scholarship applicant has to write ‘Application Id’, ‘Password’ and Security Code in the specified space. Then login. A pop-up will appear. It should be closed. Only then all information related to application for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship will be displayed on the screen of the device. Option 5 of the page will show status and institute details in option 6.
The payment date of Swami Vivekananda Scholarship was last May 17. Within 10 days from this date, the scholarship money has been deposited in the bank account of almost all the applicants. However, there is no reason to worry for those who have not yet received the money in their account, but the status is Verified. The money will be sent to the account soon.

How much money is available in Swami Vivekananda Scholarship?
Through the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, scholarship grants ranging from Rs. 12 thousand to Rs. 60 thousand per year are given to students from class XI to Ph.D.
Who can apply for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship?
To apply for this scholarship, the student must be a permanent resident of West Bengal, must have scored above 59% marks in the last annual examination and the annual family income must be less than 2 lakh 50 thousand rupees.
