WBPDCL Recruitment 2023 : West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL) is a major public sector enterprise under the state government. - Post Name – Technician Apprentice / Technician Apprentice.
- Vacancies – Different trades have different number of vacancies, Mechanical – 12, Electrical – 10, Instrumentation / Electronics – 5, Mining – 3. There are total 30 vacancies.
- Eligibility – Candidates should have passed B.Teh with relevant subject.
- Age Limit- Maximum age of 25 years can apply.
2. Post Name – Diploma Apprentice / Diploma Apprentice
- Vacancies – Different trades have different number of vacancies, Mechanical – 13, Electrical – 10, Instrumentation / Electronics – 6 vacancies. There are total 30 vacancies.
- Eligibility- Candidates must have passed ITI or Diploma in relevant subject.
- Age Limit- Maximum age of 24 years can apply. However, age relaxation will be given for reserved category candidates as per government norms.
- Salary- Candidates will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs.8,000.
Recruitment Process : Recruitment will be done on the basis of marks obtained in ITI. After this, a round of interviews will be conducted.
Recruitment Period : Candidates will be recruited here on one year contract.

- After this, candidates should go to the ‘Careers Section’ of www.wbpdcl.co.in and click on the ‘Registration Form (Online)’ option.
- The application form should be filled with all your information.
- Photocopies of required documents and passport size photograph should be uploaded. After that the form has to be submitted.
