Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2023-24 : Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is the largest scholarship given by the state government to students from class XI to research level. According to the course of the students of Bengal, the West Bengal government pays from a minimum of 1,000 rupees to a maximum of 8,000 rupees per month.
At the beginning of each course i.e. in the first year students have to apply for free. In the following years of the course (first, second, third, fourth and fifth years) students are required to renew to get the scholarship. Students will not get the Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship in the subsequent years of the same course if they do not renew or forget to do so.
Students have to fulfill certain conditions for renewal.

Eligible conditions for applying for renewal :-
- Students residing in West Bengal studying in the course can apply for renewal of this scholarship.
- Must have passed the previous annual examination with at least 60% marks.
- To renew the scholarship, the student must make fresh application in the first year of any course.
- The applicant should be studying in 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th year of Higher Secondary, Graduation or Post Graduation course.
- Those who have Gap Year or Dropped Out Year are not eligible to apply for renewal of this scholarship.
How to renew ?
- To renew the scholarship, the students must first go to the official website and log in with the login ID and password obtained through the application in the first year.
Login for Renewal - After that Renewal for the academic year 2023-’24 should complete the Renewal application of the particular class with the required information.
What documents are required for renewal ?
Only documents will be required for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship A Renewal.
- Received copy of admission of currently studying course (2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th year).
- Scan and upload the previous year annual examination marksheet of the course you are currently studying (of the last two Semesters in the case of semesters, i.e. 3rd and 4th semester marksheets for 3rd year).
Important Dates :- The application process is going on for the current academic year school students i.e. students studying in Class XI and XII and the renewal process has started only for Class XII students. Renewal for post higher secondary classes has not started yet.
