- Students must be permanent residents of West Bengal to apply for Merit cum Means Scholarship.
- The student’s family annual income should be below two and a half lakh rupees.
- The student must have passed the previous examination with at least 60 percent marks. Students can get 12 thousand rupees in this scholarship. However, the amount of scholarship money varies depending on the course.

- Photo of the student.
