Shipyard Recruitment 2023 : Cochin Shipyard Limited invites eligible candidates for Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2023. Eligible candidates can apply from the official website portal which is cochinshipyard.in. The application process will start on 14 July 2023 and it will end on 28 July 2023.

Name of the post : At the same time several types of Group D level posts will be recruited. The terms are,

• Electrician
• Electronic Mechanic
• Instrument Mechanic
• Shipwright Wood
• Fitter
• Mechanic Diesel
• Mechanic Motor Vehicle
• Plumber
• Painter

Eligibility Criteria / Educational Qualification :

• Applicant must pass SSLC or ITI for CSL recruitment.
• Obtained NTC (National Trade Certificate) in Welder/Welder (Gas & Electric) trade by Welder-pass in SSLC and ITI.
• NTC (National Trade Certificate) in Fitter Trade: Fitter-pass in SSLC and ITI.
• Mechanic Diesel: NTC (National Trade Certificate) in mechanic diesel trade after passing SSLC and ITI.

Age Limit :

• Candidates must confirm that they meet all of the eligibility requirements listed below as specified by the CSL Jobs before applying for the cochin shipyard recruitment 2023:
• Age restriction as of 28.07.2023
• For applicants to CSL Recruitment 2023, the upper and lower age limits are as follows:
• For all positions, the maximum age should not be greater than 30. The applicant must have been born on or after July 29, 1993.
• For OBC applicants (Non-Creamy Layer), the maximum age is lowered by three years.
• For SC/ST, the maximum age relaxation is five years so it is 35 years.
• The maximum age for people with benchmark disabilities (PwBD) has been lowered by ten years so it is 40 years.

Selection Procedure :

• The CSL exam will be in two phases. The approach will be used to choose candidates for these positions:

Phase I – Objective type

Phase II- practical

• The objective-type online test will last 35 minutes, have 30 multiple-choice questions, and be divided into general (10 points for Part A) and trade-related (20 points for Part B).
• The CSL Recruitment 2023 test has no negative marks, and each question is worth one mark.

Monthly Salary: Maximum monthly salary is Rs.24,800/-.
