IB Recruitment 2023 : MTS and Security Assistant recruitment for 677 vacancies! In the Intelligence Bureau! Eligibility is minimum secondary pass!

IB Recruitment 2023 : The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has decided to recruit a total of 677 vacancies in two departments in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Online application will be started from next 14.10.2023. This report discusses the type of vacancies, eligibility and application process etc. in detail.

• Name of the Post : Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

Number of Vacancies: 315.

Educational Qualification: You can apply if you have passed  secondary  from a recognized board .

Age Limit: To apply, the minimum age of the candidate as on 13.11.2023 should be 18 years and the maximum age should be between 25 years. Upper age relaxation will be given for reserved category candidates.

Salary: According to the recommendation of the Seventh Pay Commission, the salary will be given from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900 as per level-1.

• Name of the Post : Security Assistant (SA) – Motor Transport (MT)

Number of Vacancies: 362.

Educational Qualification: You can apply if you have passed  secondary  from a recognized board . Also candidates with driving license and minimum 1 year driving experience are eligible to apply.

Age Limit: To apply, the minimum age of the candidate as on 13.11.2023 should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 27 years. Upper age relaxation will be given for reserved category candidates.

Salary: As per the recommendation of the Seventh Pay Commission, the candidates working in the said post will be given salary from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 as per Level-3.

Candidate Selection Procedure (Procedure of Recruitment):  Candidates will be selected in total 6 steps in two categories  , they are-

1. Written Test (MCQ Type) – For both posts.
2. Written Test (Descriptive Type) – For MTS candidates only.
3. Driving Test (for SA/MT Posts).
4. Interview.
5. Document Verification.
6. Medical examination.

Place of Recruitment: There will be a total of 217 places in the country and a total of 10 places in West Bengal, namely Asansol, Baharampur, Bankura, Burdwan, Durgapur, Hooghly, Kalyani, Kolkata, Siliguri and Suri.

Application Fees: Unreserved/OBC/EWS candidates have to pay Rs. 500 and SC/ST candidates Rs. 450 as application fee online.
