CCRT Scholarship : The name of this new scholarship of the center is Culture Talent Search Scholarship. CCRT scholarship in short. This scholarship is launched by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Through the scholarship, a student gets Rs 3,000 to Rs 9,000 annually as financial aid for studies. This new scholarship is designed for students in the 2023-24 academic year to provide financial assistance in their studies. And so far around 650 students have received the money from this scheme.
The current generation of boys and girls are becoming more and more enamored with pop culture and especially foreign culture. The central government is giving special scholarships to students to bring about a renaissance in Indian performing arts and culture, to revive ancient Indian dance and music. Eligibility for applying for CCRT Scholarship:-
- Applicant must be an Indian.
- Applicant must be studying in a recognized Indian educational institution.
- The age of the applicant student should be between 10 years to 14 years.
- The annual income of the applicant student’s family should be between 96,000 rupees.
- Candidate should have approximately 5 years of experience in learning Music/Dance/Art from any performing arts academy or institution or guru.
- Applicants must have an interest in performing arts and submit proof of learning performing arts at the time of application for this scholarship.
- At the time of application, the applicant must have obtained any degree in the field of Arts.
Amount of Scholarship :- This scholarship is provided by the central government to a total of six hundred and fifty students per year. A minimum of Rs 3,000 to a maximum of Rs 9,000 tuition fee is paid to the youth who are interested in the arts, depending on the course, to learn Indian music, dance or arts in a guru or educational institution.
