Recruitment in Child Protection Department: The Directorate of Child Rights & Trafficking & State Child Protection Society published a notification for the recruitment of staff for multiple posts in the West Bengal Child Protection Department. A notification in this regard has been published on the official website of the department on 04.08.2023. This recruitment will be done in total 21 districts, however eligible job aspirants from any district of the state are eligible to apply for the posts.

‘Category A’ : – Darjeeling/ Kalimpong /Jalpaiguri/
Cooch Behar/ Alipurduar/Uttar Dinajpur / Dakshin Dinajpur /Malda/ Nadia/Purulia/Bankura/Paschim
Bardhaman /Purba Bardhaman/Birbhum/ Hooghly /Kolkata/ Paschim Medinipur/ Howrah.

‘Category B’ : – Murhidabad/ North 24 Parganas/ South 24 Parganas

• Post Name :  Child Helpline Supervisor.

Total Vacancy :   3 employees in each district included in category A of 21 districts and 4 employees in each district included in category B. Also,

Railway Stations :  New Jalpaiguri / Kharagpur / Alipurduar / Malda / Asansol / Howrah / Sealdah

And

Bus Stands :  Kolkata Babughat Bus Stand / Kolkata Esplanade Bus Stand –  3  staff will be appointed each.

Educational Qualification :  Candidates can apply if they have passed graduation in Social Work/Computer Sciences/Information Technology/Community Sociology/Social Sciences from an institute recognized by the government. Also the candidate must know how to work on computer.

Age Limit : Applicant age should be between minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years as on 01.07.2023.

Monthly Salary :  Employed candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Tk 18,536.

• Post Name : Case Worker.

Age Limit :  Age limit to apply should be 18 to 45 years.

Educational Qualification :  Application for the post of Case Worker educational qualification requires higher secondary pass. Must have passed from any recognized school.

Salary Limit : Salary will be Rs.12000 per month. Insurance will be Rs. 330.

• Post Name : Counselor.

Total Vacancy :   One staff member will be appointed in each CHL center of 21 districts.

Educational Qualification :  Candidates can apply if they have passed graduation in Social Work/Sociology/Psychology/Public Health/Counselling from an institute recognized by the government and have 1 year experience in the subject. Also the candidate must know how to work on computer.

Age Limit :  Applicant age should be between minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years as on 01.07.2023.

Monthly Salary : Employed candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 18,536.

• Post Name : Project Coordinator.

Total Vacancy :   One staff member will be appointed in each CHL center of 21 districts.

Educational Qualification :  Applicants must have passed graduation in Social Work/Sociology/Child Development/Human Rights Public Administration/Psychology/Psychiatry/Law/Public Health/Community Resource from an institute recognized by the government and have 2 years experience in the notified field or, it should be noted. Subjects should be Post Graduate only. Also the candidate must know how to work on computer.

Age Limit : Applicant age should be between minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years as on 01.07.2023.

Monthly Salary : Employed candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.35,000.

• Post Name : Child Helpline Administrator.

Age Limit : Age limit to apply for this post is 18 to 45 years.

Educational Qualification : To apply for this post educational qualification is required Masters in Law/ Social Work/Sociology/Social Science/Psychology.

Salary Limit : Salary will be Rs 35,000 per month. Insurance will be Rs. 330.
